- Extension of the existing Eisenhower Drive from High Street to west of McSherrystown
- Two-lane Suburban Center Corridor east of CSX rail corridor
- Two-lane Rural Corridor west of CSX rail corridor
- Bridges over CSX rail corridor and Plum Creek
- New traffic signal and intersection improvements at Eisenhower Drive and High Street
- Roundabouts at major intersections
- Realignments of Hanover Road and Sunday Drive to intersect with the proposed new roadway
The Preferred Alternative best meets the needs and purpose for the project by providing transportation improvements that will address operational and safety concerns.
